Adding to the streak of successful web series’, “What’s Up Velakkari” is another light-hearted Tamil web series starring Dhanya Balakrishna, Rakendu Mouli and Abirami Iyer in the lead roles. The series is based on a distinct theme is the work of Preethi Srivijayan, Manu Anand and Praveen K. The story for this web series has been written by Durgesh Haridas and Suriya Narayan. It portrays Dhanya Balakrishna in the role of a maid, a role very different from the traditional maids in the sense that she is young, ultra modern and communicates with her peers and her employers on Whatsapp.

Rakendu Mouli, the male lead of the series who lives in a house alone, while his parents live overseas. Mouli is shy and says he is not ready for marriage whenever his parents compelled him to marry. The story also involves another hilarious character who lives next door and Dhanya Balakrishna’s boyfriend who is a police officer. Results of Assembly Elections of 5 Indian States will be on 11th December- Know it all on YuppTV

Five Indian States namely Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Telangana had their Elections in the last three months of 2018. The elections in the first three of the above-mentioned states have already completed and 7th December is the date of Elections in Telangana and Rajasthan. While the elections in Mizoram and Madhya Pradesh have happened without any incidents, Chhattisgarh has witnessed its share of discrepancies like Maoist Attacks, Threats, Bomb Diffusion, etc. The second phase of Chhattisgarh Elections has taken place without significant incidents. 

The battle at the center was always between Congress and BJP in India. The prominence of elections in these five states is derived from this fact as a victory in these regions can affect the leadership at the national level. The elections in the state of Karnataka gave Congress a new hope and the BJP government some apprehension. Similarly, the states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh that are now under the service of BJP have Congress as their principal opposition. The state of Telangana too though is under the leadership of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has Congress as the major opponent. Mizoram has been under the leadership of Congress and a change in this situation is highly unlikely.

That can put BJP under pressure to secure a win since any loss in these elections can lead to a psychological breakdown in other states. The opinion polls conducted by various organizations have already put Congress ahead of BJP in states like Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. But there is a high chance of the results surprising us. BJP has no leg to stand on in states like Telangana and Mizoram due to the domination of TRS and Congress. So, the results in the above mentioned three states can alter the power division in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Released during Sankranthi 2018, the film was a success worldwide and has entertained the overseas audience well.Directed in Trivikram in his own style, the film casts Pawan Kalyan, Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel, Aadhi Pinisetty, Kushboo and Boman Irani among the lead roles.

The film’s caption “Prince in Exile” pretty much explains the story, but the way the director had managed to make it interesting for the viewers by filling in Humor, captivatingly emotional scenes and soulful songs with Pawan Kalyan’s charm being at the center of it all. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichandran.

Team India battled with Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh in Asia Cup and won the tournament by defeating Bangladesh in a tight final match. The tournament was captained by Rohit Sharma and the man delivered his best by lifting the prestigious trophy.

Windies Tour of India

Windies Tour of India commenced on 04th of October 2018, soon after the completion of the Asia Cup. India Captain Virat Kohli who was rested for the Asia Cup tournament was back in Action in this tour. The tour comprises of 2 Test matches, 5 ODIs, and 3 T20s. Indian team once again performed at a superlative level and won both the tests against West Indies with flying colors.

The first of ODIs commenced on 21st of October and India won the match. The second ODI is taking place today, on 24th October 2018 and it will be exciting to see both the teams battle it out viciously. Indian team is on a roll since the commencement of the tour and the West Indies team is desperate for a win which will be a great motivator for them to put forward their best efforts.

The three T20Is will be played in Kolkata, Lucknow, and Chennai respectively.
