YuppTV an internet based TV streaming service provider, announces its first Shortfilm contest for upcoming content creators.
YuppTV was founded in 2006 with intent to deliver South Asian Television content to the expats.
On 14th October, YuppTV did an official launch of its services in India under the auspices of Shri K T Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayat Raj and IT, Government of Telangana, in the presence of Cricket Legend Mr. Brian Lara and popular Bollywood actress Ms. Parineeti Chopra.
YuppTV is now giving a platform to content creators to reach the Television audience, although they might or not have attracted the internet users so far.
In this regard YuppTV announced a ShortFilm Contest, to which participation entry started yesterday. The participants can send in their short films in any language or genre with mandatory English sub-titles. The Jury Panel comprises of popular Indian film Directors - Anuraag Kashyap, Ketan Mehta, and Sudhir Mishra.
The last day to send in your entries is 11th December. Participate and win upto prizes worth Rs.5lakhs. Best 20 videos will be made live on YuppTV for the world to watch your talent.
