Judgement Day for Australia and India – Watch the Final Match between India vs Australia today

Australia tour of India that had commenced on 24th February 2019 has completed 2 T20Is and 4 ODIs till date. Australia won the two T20Is against India and of the four ODIs, India managed to secure two victories while Australia secured two making the fifth ODI the deciding factor in the five ODI series. The first ODI between India and Australia was an exciting match. Australia scored a 236 in the 50 overs and India managed to chase the score in 48.2 overs. Dhoni managed to score a half-century, and Kedhar Jadhav who seized the Man of the Match title scored a whopping 81. The second ODI too was an edge of the seat action with India batting first. India batted first, scored 250 runs in 48.2 overs and Australia failed to chase the target. Virat Kohli played beautifully in the match and scored a ton grabbing the Man of the Match title.

The Third ODI was won by Australia where the team had secured 313 runs in the 50 overs. Australian player Usman Khawaja made his maiden century in this match contributing to Australia’s success and winning the Man of the Match title simultaneously. Indian team failed to chase the score despite Virat Kohli’s outstanding century. The fourth ODI was the most thrilling of all as India had scored a whopping 358 runs in the given 50 overs with Shikhar Dhawan registering his highest score in ODIs. Rohit Sharma partnered with the man and scored 95 runs creating a record of second highest opening partnership of India against Australia.

The events that made the match exhilarating is that Australia managed to chase the score in 47.5 overs with 4 wickets in hand. Australian Batsmen Usman Khawaja, Peter Handscomb and Ashton Turner returned the favor by scoring 91, 117, and 84 runs respectively securing a win for Australia. Ashton Turner who secured his 84 in just 43 balls stood as the Man of the Match.

The two teams are now at equal points and whoever wins the fifth ODI stands to win the series. Australia is currently high on its previous consecutive victories and India that had lost two ODIs is desperate for a win. Both the teams will be looking for blood in the final match which will make the fifth ODI a must watch for every cricket fan.
