Since it has launched on Indian Soil, Bigg
Boss has been one of the most watched reality shows in India. The show that had
begun in Hindi in 2006 has reached the Tamil television in 2017. It is being
aired by Star Vijay and hosted by revered Tamil Actor Kamal Haasan since its
inception. The show has reached its third season which has begun recently on
23rd June 2019.
The first season of Bigg Boss Tamil was
aired on 30th September 2017. 19 housemates contended for 98 days and model and
Actor Aarav has stood as the winner in it. The second season was aired on 30th
September 2018 and Tamil Actress Rythvika stood as the winner among the 17
contestants. Bigg Boss season 3 was first aired on June 23rd with a reduced
number of contestants. The three seasons were aired by Kamal Haasan and the show
is one of the top-rated shows in the Tamil networks.
16 contestants namely Fathima Babu, Sakshi
Agarwal, Saravanan, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Reshma Pasupuleti, and Sherin Shringar
(Actors), Jangiri Madhumita (Comedienne), Losliya Mariyanesan (TV News Reader),
Kavin Raj and Abhirami Venkatachalam (TV Presenter/ Actor), Cheran (Director),
Mohan Vaithya (Playback Singer), Mugen Rao, Tharshan, and Meera Mithun
(Models), and Sandy (Choreographer) are part of Bigg Boss season 3.
As always, the group consists of a
versatile mix of individuals. Highly creative contests to test the
participants’ skills, patience and other elements that are required of them to
win the contest are planned for the season 3. The season will last till 06th of
