The Test Case

The Test Case is the story of a highly motivated individual who is the only woman in the team of special forces. A woman’s role in the army and the way her parents, colleagues and her officials treat her because she is a woman forms the base of the story giving rise to a high-end drama as the story moves forward. The test case is one of the best original web series that AltBalaji has house come up with. It casts Nimrat Kaur in the lead role along with Akshay Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, Anup Soni etc., and is directed by Vinay Waikul and Nagesh Kukunoor.

Hum

A story of three sisters with dreams and ambitions that lead them from an ordinary life to an extraordinary life. In the path that they take while chasing them, will they be able to stay together, or will they break apart forms the crux of the story. The series casts talented actors like Kushal Tandon, Karishma Sharma, Ridhima Pandit, etc. in the leading roles. This is a new series and was released on 30th of July 2018.

PM Selfiewallie

Built on a humorous note that anything can happen in Politics, PM Selfiewallie is as crazy as it sounds. Though the concept is a little older and is familiar to the audience, this AltBalaji web series brings novelty to the table in terms of the issues it confronts. The story is of a young woman who becomes the Prime Minister of India and though what she does looks like sheer absurdity she talks of issues like Legalizing Homosexuality, a topic on which the debate is hot in India and Marijuana, an issue on which a debate hasn’t fully reached the mainstream media. Seriousness aside, PM Selfiewallie offers knowledge mixed with humor, which a recipe that best works with ignorance.

The VOD platform also hosts other popular web series like Boygiri, Dhimaner Dinkaal, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, Gandii Baat, Romil and Jugal, Haq Se, etc., and movies like LSD, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Shor in the City, Ek Thi Daayan, etc., and a lot more. And all of these are now accessible from anywhere in the world with just one click on YuppTV.
