 Today, January 22, 2024, marks a momentous occasion in Indian spiritual and cultural history, as the much-awaited consecration of the Ram temple takes place in Ayodhya after almost 500 years. The "Pran Pratishtha" ceremony will commence at 12:20 pm and last 40 minutes, concluding at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will witness the sanctification of the temple, which will be performed by religious leaders and priests and attended by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, along with other dignitaries and spiritual leaders. The temple will be open to the public the following day, allowing devotees to witness and seek blessings from Lord Ram in the newly constructed temple. The magnificent Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, built in the traditional Nagara architectural style, is 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high. Three hundred ninety-two pillars support it, and it has 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple are decorated with intricate carvings depicting several Hindu deities. The temple's main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor houses the idol of Ram Lalla.
