Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 began on August 3rd, 2025, hosted by Superstar Mohanlal. This grand launch was filled with colorful performances and lots of energy from all the contestants. This year, instead of a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, Mohanlal lit a firecracker to kick off the season, giving it a unique and fresh start to the show.
This year, the bigg boss was redesigned and looks bigger and more stylish with a large kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a spacious dining area. One of the special additions to this season is the Panipiura room, which was introduced at Mohanlal's request. Every contestant should compete in each and every task to win back their personal belongings and weekly groceries, which are kept inside this room.
Some of the
well-known contestants are a mix of actors, models, singers, and creators,
namely, Aneesh Tharayil, Anumol, Aryan Kathuria, Kalabhavan Sariga, Akbar Khan,
RJ Bincy, and Oneal Sabu. One of the highlights is Fathima Noora and Adhila
Nasarin, a couple from Kerala who recently gained more attention for their
inspirational journey, who are also participating in the Bigg Boss.
