This Shandaar Shukravar episode of KBC had talented actors Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon on the hot seat, promoting their film 'Hum Do Hamare Do.' It was a fanboy moment for Rajkummar, who shared his affection towards Amitabh Bachchan. Kriti and Rajkummar recalled when Big B had sent them handwritten letters appreciating their performance in Bareilly ki Barfi. 4. Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh

Olympic Champions Neeraj Chopra and PR Sreejesh appeared on the show after winning Olympic medals for the nation. Neeraj won the first-ever gold medal for India in the track and field category for Javelin throw. Sreejesh was part of the team that won bronze in Men's hockey. The sports stars had a gala time with Big B and won 25 lakhs.

5. KBC Final Episode

After almost four months, Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 ended on a good note. Amitabh Bachchan hosted the finale episode with Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan as special guests. When Amitabh teased the former cricketers about their ‘famous’ tempers, Irfan took out a couple of stress relief balls and promised to release their anger with the help of those. Harbhajan teased Irfan about eating with both hands and said that he is capable of finishing food meant for four persons alone. Amitabh then asked the two to name a cricketer they are scared of. Harbhajan said that he was intimidated by Sachin at first.

Alongside the “Permanent Guest” Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor from the star cast and the producer of Bell Bottom, Jackie Bhagnani also joined Kapil and co. on the stage. With new and even more absurd characters, Kapil Sharma’s show is here not only to tickle your funny bone but murder it. 

Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 13:

The country’s favourite host, Amitabh Bachchan is back with a new season of India’s favourite quiz show. The promo started with the host welcoming the audience once again. The host announced a small change in Fastest Finger First round where they will be given four options and a 10 second timer. The first contestant to win the round and reach the hot seat is Gyaan Raj, a teacher in a remote village in Jharkhand. Get to know his inspiring story and watch how much he wins on KBS Season 13.

2 Decades ,Season 12 : Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati makes a comeback on Sept 28

Kaun Banega Crorepati, one of the most intriguing and engaging game shows of India, is set to premiere on September 28th. Amitabh Bachchan, the only man who can pull off the role of the host effortlessly, is now set to host the 12th season of KBC and it will mark his two-decade association with the show. 

 

 

The return of this most loved show amid the ongoing pandemic is welcome news, but it has its challenges. Keeping in mind, the government-mandated restrictions, the makers have decided to not host an in-house audience. KBC without an audience is going to be different, especially since one of the lifelines involves the audience. “Audience poll” is a lifeline that a player can use whenever he needs help, but without an audience, there is no question of seeking help. This has been around for many years and has helped a lot of players progress in the game. But, as we all know, desperate times call for desperate measures. 

 

The lifeline will now be replaced with a new lifeline, called “Video-A-Friend”. The contestant on the hot-seat can avail this lifeline and video call a friend. There would be the same 60-seconds clock running and the other lifelines, Ask the expert, flip the question and 50-50 will remain unchanged. Some more changes have been made to follow the protocols. The fastest finger first round, which usually had 10 contestants, will now have 8. The distance between the hot-seat and the host-seat will be higher than usual. This is to reduce the number of people on set. 

 

The introduction videos that were usually shot from the contestants’ respective homes and cities will now be shot by themselves because the crew couldn’t travel. Even though there are a lot of hurdles in organizing the show the way it used to be, the channel is trying its best to bring the audiences the best experience they can.

Epic Show Comes to a Season End- KBC airs its last episode today

One of the top shows on the Indian Television, the Indian version of British Show, “Who wants to be a Millionaire” hosted by none other than the Big B. Amitabh Bachchan who entered the small screen with this show, gave the show an intense feeling and made it his own. The show which began in the year 2000, has completed 8 seasons successfully one of which was hosted by another Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The ninth season which had commenced in August on Hindi TV Channel, Sony TV had run successfully and will be coming to an end with its final episodes airing on November 6th and 7th. The final episode will have Vidya Balan and Yuvraj Singh, Nobel Prize Winner Kailash Satyarthi as its guests. The episode has been planned with electrifying performances and audience interactions. The promos which have been released suggest that the episode might grab a better viewership than ever before.

The show received the highest ratings and has replaced Khatron Ke Khiladi and the KumKum Bhagya which enjoyed a position on top in the past few months. The show also entertained the audience with special celebrity guests PV Sindhu, Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, and the whole Indian Women Cricket team with the captain Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur occupying the hot seat.

The show’s popularity has also been better with the introduction of certain features for the lifelines like the video call instead of the voice calls in "phone a friend". The Narendra Modi’s initiative of Digital Currency has gained the attention of the shows as well or maybe this is for the promotion but this time, Contestants who win amounts will be paid digitally instead of a cheque. The show also poses a jackpot question that allows the contestants to win a whopping 7 crores in one go. This question which will be posed after winning the 1 crore is also a feature that intrigued viewers. Also, the special episodes which featured social workers and members from various NGOs have also been a huge contributing factor to the higher viewership.
