Uttar Pradesh is one of the largest state and one of the most populous state of the Indian Republic. Not only being one of the largest state, it has been regarded as an important state in the Indian politics due to its population and the seats it reserves in the assembly (403).

It has always been important for the political parties to reserve more seats in this constituency because the UP voters never remain loyal to a party for more than one election. The BJP party after announcing the Note ban in India are eager to get more seats in this part of India to secure their coming future in the Indian Politics.

Other than that, the ruling party (Samajwadi Party) also expect to get back in action for which they have forged an alliance with the Congress party too. Mayawati of Bahujan Samaj Party is also thinking of getting back in power through the Muslim and Dalits. It has become a battle ground in the northern part of India starting from 11th of February and 11th march being its end date.

The parties who conquers the voters of UP result to be the one conquering the whole Indian Republic. These elections would be the decider which party gets to remain in the race for the upcoming 2019 elections and which becomes the challenger.While PM Modi is influencing the UP people with his witty talks and taking dig at Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav for their failure in state development, low profile Dimple Yadav, wife of UP CM Akhilesh becoming popular day by day with her soft spoken words and attitude. The Up elections have been distributed in 7 phases, starting from the 11th of February. The first phase was spread over 15 districts which resulted in approximately 64.22% of votes while the second phase brought better results than the first phase and resulted in 65.5% of votes. The third phase the votes were 61.16% and in the fourth phase also got 61% of votes. In the fifth phase, around 57.36% of votes have been reported. The voting has not been as expected but the end result would only reveal the political future of the country.
