Starring Rocking Star Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt,
Raveena Tondon, Anant Nag, Prakash Raj and others in the lead roles, the
larger-than-life KGF is directed by Prashanth Neel. While the first chapter
introduces us to the dark and mysterious world of KGF, its sequel is brutal and
beyond imagination, with many goose bumps moments. KGF 2 picks up exactly where
the first part left off, with a minor exception that Prakash Raj replaces Anant
Nag to narrate the story. However, it neither created a split second of confusion
nor felt like a pale discontinuity. The second chapter will see Rocky taking
total command over KGF and building a massive empire. While Rocky is all set to
make his dream come true, he must overcome Adheera and then-Prime Minister of
India Ramika Sen, hell bent on stopping his meteoric rise. Yash is magnificent
as raw and ruthless Rocky and lived his role like real. Srinidhi Shetty is
brilliant and no one other than Sanjay Dutt can portray Adheera. Raveena Tondon
is exceptional as Ramika Sen and leaves an impact.
Bhuvan Gowda's cinematography takes you through KGF, the
slums of Mumbai, Dubai safari and the PMO. Ujwal Kulkarni's edit is sleek,
crisp and skips your heartbeat. Ravi Basrur's music and background score are
the rage and taken by storm. The film broke all the records upon release and
set high standards for action entertainers. Prashanth Neel became the most
sensational and sought-after director after Rajamouli.
