Asia Cup now alternates every two years between ODI and T20I formats to cater to the needs of cricket fans of both formats. Team India has been the most successful team in Asia Cup history, followed by Sri Lanka. While India won seven titles, Sri Lanka has six trophies to its credit. Pakistan has won the championship twice. Sri Lanka enters the event as defending champion and aims for another trophy to equal India's tally.
