Krishnarjuna Yuddham, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi constituted Nani’s third film in a dual role. The film cast Anupama Parameswaran, Rukshar Dhillon alongside Nani in the lead roles. Nani played a dual role in this film- one of which is the role of a Rockstar from Prague and the other is a simple guy from Chittoor. The story is about how these two individuals meet and come together for a purpose.

The film was released on 12th April 2018 and gathered the fourth highest collections among Nani’s films. Nani who had a successful career recently with films like Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, and MCA, has bagged in another hit with this film. The same can be said about the director Merlapaka Gandhi, who had directed Venkatadri Express and Express Raja in the past.

Music for Krishnarjuna Yuddham was composed by Hip Hop Tamizha. This is their second project in Telugu and it had earned great popularity among the audience. The reputed folk song “Daari Choodu” in Chittoor dialect is praised by the Telugu audience. Other songs like I wanna Fly, Ela Ela, etc., also were appreciated by the audience.

Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi, a recently released flick of Ram Pothineni under the direction of Kishore Tirumala, was one of the most popular Telugu films in the recent times. The film which has been a second film in the combination of Ram and director Kishore was a light-hearted comedy themed on coming of age friendship.
