An anthology of five heartwarming urban stories, Meet Cute is sure to bring countless emotions come alive. These five stories are different from each other and explore the first meetings in a touchy way.

The arrival of OTT platforms allowed filmmakers and storytellers to expand the horizons and experiment with genres. Anthology will allow them to present stories from different perceptions either interlinked or one after the other. Meet Cute on SonyLIV is a bittersweet nostalgia and deals with the relationship bloomed over accidental meetings. An ensemble cast of Sathyaraj, Rohini, Varsha Bollamma, Adah Sharma, Raja Chembolu, Ruhani Sharma, Ashwin Kumar, Aakanksha Singh, Shiva Kandukuri, and others make it worth watching.

World Television Premiere of Nani’s Blockbuster Sports Drama “Jersey” on Zee Telugu

One of the most recent Blockbusters that have stirred up the emotions of Telugu audience in Sports genre is Nani’s Jersey. The film that was directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and cast Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles derived its music from Anirudh Ravichander. The film also has Sathyaraj, Harish Kalyan, Sampath Raj, Sanusha, and Viswant in supporting roles. Jersey received a high rating from the critics as well as the audience and is one of the top grossers in 2019.

The film depicts the story of a former cricketer who gets into the Indian cricket team after a massive gap for the sake of his son. The film concentrates on the struggles a sportsman had to go through if his career is obstructed, the complications that arise in a low-income family, and the difficulties that he had to overcome to get back into the team. Emphasizing Family emotions and the sensitive bond between father and a son, the movie is an absolute delight to watch. 

Jersey’s amazing run in the theatres was fueled by the wonderful performances from the lead actor and actress along with Sathyaraj and the supporting staff. Nowhere does the movie deviates from its storyline or the emotion that it is trying to establish. Krishnarjuna Yuddham, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi constituted Nani’s third film in a dual role. The film cast Anupama Parameswaran, Rukshar Dhillon alongside Nani in the lead roles. Nani played a dual role in this film- one of which is the role of a Rockstar from Prague and the other is a simple guy from Chittoor. The story is about how these two individuals meet and come together for a purpose.

The film was released on 12th April 2018 and gathered the fourth highest collections among Nani’s films. Nani who had a successful career recently with films like Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, and MCA, has bagged in another hit with this film. The same can be said about the director Merlapaka Gandhi, who had directed Venkatadri Express and Express Raja in the past.

Music for Krishnarjuna Yuddham was composed by Hip Hop Tamizha. This is their second project in Telugu and it had earned great popularity among the audience. The reputed folk song “Daari Choodu” in Chittoor dialect is praised by the Telugu audience. Other songs like I wanna Fly, Ela Ela, etc., also were appreciated by the audience.

Nani’s most recent flick directed by Venu Sri Ram under the production of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Creations- MCA captioned Middle-Class Abbayi was a Blockbuster. The film stars Bhoomika Chawla and Sai Pallavi alongside Nani in the lead roles. The film’s music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. This movie was released on 21st of December, 2017, and is now available on YuppTV Mini theatre.

MCA movie is based on a small idea that Nani, the lead actor has a photographic memory which means that the person can remember any detail after looking at something just once. The idea was taken from the English web series “Suits” in which the lead actor has the same condition. The film starts with Nani displaying his abilities in a bar when he wins a bet with another guy and then moves onto the actual plot where he has to accompany his sister-in-law to another town. Given that he hates his sister-in-law, he goes there reluctantly and meets the love of his life and decides to stay there during which time the local gangster threatens to kill his sister-in-law. Will Nani be able to save her? If so, how does he do it given his abilities? Why does he want to save her when he hates her? All these questions will be answered in the entertaining 2 hours of the movie. 

The movie was a blockbuster and the actors were praised for their performances especially the lead actor Nani and the actress Sai Pallavi.
