Be it any big tournament, if there is one
battle that the world cricket lovers stand together to enjoy except the playing
nations, it is India vs Pakistan match. This is the most awaited battle of
World Cup and in 2019 it is on 16th of June in Emirates Old

the team was quite confident on its victory. The team was defeated by Australia
in its fourth match, but their performance was duly noted by all the
enthusiasts as uncompromising. If continued with the same confidence, then the
team would have a good chance of gaining a victory against India.
Indian team too performed graciously in the
two matches it had played against South Africa and Australia. Given the two teams
are among the strongest in WC 2019, it is fair to say that India is currently
in an intimidating position to the other teams. Though the next match against
New Zealand was abandoned due to rain, the team is confident than ever that it
can win over Pakistan.
India currently holds 5 points and stands
third in the points table. The team comprises of the most talented players like
Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra
Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, etc. Since Shikhar
Dhawan succumbed to a Thumb injury, it could affect the team, but wonderful
players like Dinesh Karthik and Vijay Shankar are present in the team to fill
the void. The team’s performance without Shikhar Dhawan could have been seen in
the New Zealand match, but as the match was abandoned there is no way to say if
his absence has affected the team in any way
