Catch the Season Finale of Bigg Boss 13 on Colors TV

Bigg Boss 13, the longest of all seasons is finally coming to an end on the 15th of February 2020. The show was being aired on Colors Television every day on weekdays and weekends and is one of the most popular shows on Hindi Television. BB 13 has begun on 29th September 2019 with Bollywood Actor Salman Khan as its host. It was initially scheduled to run till the end of January but given the popularity and the ratings, it was extended for five weeks postponing the finale to mid-February.

Bigg Boss season 13 had begun with 13 participants which was later increased to 22. 6 of these were wild card entries namely Shefali Jariwala, Tehseen Poonawalla, Vikas Pathak aka Hindustani Bhau, Vishal Aditya Singh, Khesari Lal Yadav, and Himanshi Khurana. The other participants are Koena Mitra, Siddhartha Dey, Abu Malik, Devoleena Bhattacharya, Arhaan Khan, Shefali Bagga, Madhurima Tuli, Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaz Gill, Rashami Desai, Paras Chhabra, Mahira Sharma, Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Dallijet Kaur, and Vikas Gupta.

The season had been one of the most exciting ones given its participants, injuries during the tasks, and wild card entries. Devoleena Bhattacharya had to leave the house because of a spinal cord injury during a task. Paras Chhabra’s Thumb surgery and Sidharth Shukla coming down with Typhoid have been some mentionable happenings in the season. The season also had 6 wild card entries and witnessed plenty of shocking revelations from the contestants and outbursts from the host making it all the more intriguing.

Of all the participants Arti Singh, Asim Riaz, Mahira Sharma, Paras Chhabra, Rashami Desai, Shehnaaz Gill, and Sidharth Shukla reached the final week. Three of these contestants Arti Singh, Mahira Sharma, and Shehnaz Gill were nominated for a mid-week elimination. With Mahira Sharma making her exit from the show, the remaining contestants will continue to the finale with the rest.

Bigg Boss returns with Season 12 on Colors Television

Probably the most successful reality show in Hindi television, Bigg Boss is hosted by Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan. The man with his wit and charms has hosted the show from its fourth season till date. Bigg Boss Hindi version was the first version of the Bigg Brother reality show in India which was originally commenced in the Netherlands. 

A little history of Bigg Boss

Began in 2006-07, Bigg Boss season 1 was hosted by Arshad Warsi during which the prize money was Rs 1 crore. Subsequently, the show was hosted by Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt and then Salman Khan alone. Atul Kapoor was the voice of Bigg Boss since the first season. The show has completed 11 seasons till date and the 12th season is going to commence on 16th of September 2018.

The theme of this season is said to be Vichitra Jodi and the season will comprise 14 contestants. While the list of candidates that are going to participate in Bigg Boss season 12 is not confirmed some names have leaked to the media out of which the names of comedienne Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbaachiyaa seem to have confirmed. The names of Ghazal Singer Anup Jalota and Television actress Dipika Kakar were also confirmed.

Another Jodi of a lawyer- Romil Choudhary and a police officer Nirmal Singh were also said to be confirmed. Other names like Cricketer Sreesanth, Actress Tanushree Dutta, Television actor Karanvir Bohra, Actresses- Shristy Rode, & Neha Pendse, VJ/ Model Scarlett Rose are also circulating in the media as most likely contestants. Bigg Boss has always been organized at a specially built house at Lonavala, Mumbai.

Naagin 3 to make its comeback with New Cast on Colors TV

One of the most popular Hindi Shows on Colors TV, Naagin had finished 2 seasons and is about to make a comeback with the third. The show which has topped all the charts in its previous seasons had Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan as the lead actresses. After the second season, the lead actresses of the show, Mouni Roy, and Adaa Khan left the show raising plenty of speculations over the launch of the third.

But soon after, Ekta Kapoor revealed that actresses Karishma Tanna and Anita Hassanandani will be taking the place of Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan. The announcement, of course, received mixed responses from the viewers and fans since the name Mouni Roy had been associated with the serial and every household got accustomed to watching her in the show. Despite these speculations, the promo for the third season of Naagin generated quite a stir among the fans and was received quite positively.

Naagin is the story of two ichandari Naagins, Shivanya and Shesha, trying to avenge one Shivanya’s parent’s death. In the first two seasons, Mouni Roy played two roles Shivanya and Shivangi both of whom are ichandari Naagins (Shape Shifting Snakes) and Adaa Khan played the role of Shesha, the sister of Shivanya. In the third season, Karishma Tanna and Anita Hassanandani will replace them along with the other cast Pearl V Puri, Amrapali Gupta, Rajat Tokas, Rakshanda Khan, etc.

The show was very much loved by the audience and earned the lead Actors Arjun Bijlani, Mouni Roy, Sudha Chandran, Karanvir Bohra, Adaa Khan etc, and the producer Ekta Kapoor, many awards like Boroplus Gold Awards, Golden Petal Awards, 16th Indian Television Academy Awards, Big Zee Entertainment Awards, etc. It is imperative that the season of Naagin will achieve a bigger success than its predecessors, but it is too early to say.

Naagin 3 will replace Colors TV’s another popular show Chandrakanta, from 2nd of June 2018.

63rd Jio Filmfare Awards 2018 on Colors TV Live

Filmfare Awards is the highest honor that Bollywood film industry bestows upon its people. The 63rd Filmfare awards celebration was organized in Mumbai on 20th January and the entire Hindi film industry came together to make it a spectacular event. The event which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar is going to be broadcast on Colors TV Live, this Sunday.

Bigg Boss Finale: Why this season of the reality show become the most talked about show?

Bigg Boss: The most controversial and the most watched Indian Reality show, hosted by Salman Khan has reached its finale which is going to be aired on 14th January 2018 on Colors TV and Colors TV Live. The show whose theatrics are well known to the audience of entire India still ranks the top among the reality shows.

Bigg Boss show has always been controversial and has been pushing the limits of Indian audience sensibilities a bit further with its every season. The base personalities of human beings and elements like PDA, harassment etc., which most of the Indian audience do not agree with in Films or other Television shows were eerily accepted by the audience in this show which led it to its present position of fame.

More than any previous seasons this year’s season displayed an outrageous amount of these behaviors. Some elements like Arshi Khan explaining how she enjoyed applying butter on Hiten Tejwani’s body, or how everyone calmed down Akash Dadlani when he complained about Arshi slapping him on the backside, or Akash’s joke suggesting Shilpa Shinde to apply lotion on her private parts, constitute only some among the many happened.  And surprisingly these happenings did not receive much public outcry.

But the show is among the most talked because of some issues like Hina Khan’s comment about South Indian actresses being overweight and about other Bollywood actresses. It became a hot topic on the internet in some instances where a popular celebrity from in the house cried because of the harassment. Another instance of a live voting activity where fans misbehaved with Hina Khan also made it to the news. In all likelihood the show definitely made the Indian audience confused about the topics of Harassment, jokes, and obscenity and made them accept these elements as common human behavior.

Indian Television Academy Awards (shortly known as ITA Awards) function has taken place on 5th of November 2017. The star-studded night was a spectacular sight to watch both for the stars and the attendees. Many of the Bollywood big shots attended the event and made it successful. Celebrities and Actors like Jennifer Winget, Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Nakuul Mehta, Avika Gor, Rohan Mehra, Surbhi Chandna, Ravi Dubey, Shrenu Parikh, Kishwer Merchant, and many others along with Smriti Irani attended the event.

ITA awards are the most prestigious awards which honor the best of talent on the Television. Actors, Writers, Directors, Music Composers, Costume designers, Anchors, Visual Effects, Lyricists, Documentary makers, Dialogue/ Story writers, and highly talented people from various other categories have been felicitated in the event. The academy also honors various Channels, Television events, Shows, Serials, Mini-Series, and Web Series which have earned a place in people’s hearts.

ITA selects the winners through a voting system in which people from India and many countries in the world vote for their favorite actors/ actresses/ shows. The awards even though was infamous, hit a new record this year with a total count of 100 million votes overall. The division of votes showed a 68 percent voting from India and 32 percent from other countries.

The event which was hosted by Manish Paul and Ali Asgar is going to be telecast on Colors this Sunday. Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 Tops the TRP Charts

Bigg Boss Hindi- the biggest reality TV show in India has entered its 11th season. Salman is hosting this season for the seventh time. The show has been a massive success and had garnered enough attention from entire India to start its versions in different languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, etc.

As it has been 3 weeks since the show has started some of the contestants have already been evicted and new contestants have entered. Of the newest contestants, Dhinchak Pooja who had been an internet sensation in the recent times had entered the show which made the show more interesting.

The show delivered more attractions when it brought other celebrities into the house to spend time with the contestants. Celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Tapsee Pannu have come to the show on the premiere day. Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 with Rohit Shetty on Colors will give you chills

The season 8 of “Khatron Ke Khiladi”, one of the most followed shows on the Indian television has started and the audience is more than excited to watch the rest of the show. Many changes have happened from the last season to this season. The season 8 is being hosted by Rohit Shetty who has already hosted 5th and the 6th seasons of the show. The season 7 has been hosted by Arjun Kapoor and Rohit Shetty is back to the show and he made it big with a grand entrance alongside a tiger.

 

The show has roped in celebrities from disparate fields as contestants, namely Hina Khan, Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey, Karan Wahi, Shantanu Maheshwari, Lopamudra Raut, Manveer Gurjar , Geeta Phogat, Shiny Doshi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Monica Dogra, and Shibani Dandekar. The show is shot in Spain this year and is captioned accordingly as Pain in Spain.

Some dangerous stunts have already been performed in the first episode by the contestants which involved a collection of flags from the rooftop of a bus. This has been performed by Manveer, Rithvik, and Shibani, in which Shibani gained the minimum number.

The second is collecting flags from a thrust on a crane between two hills. The thrust will keep growing thinner as they move forward. The task has been performed by Shantanu, Nia, and Hina of whom Nia landed herself in the danger zone by acquiring the least number of flags.

The third has been the most exciting one and has not been tried in the history of this show. This task requires two people to get inside a cage, open a box which has four bolts, collect the flag and carry it all the way to the destination.  The task is time-based and is needed to be performed in the least amount of time in order to win. Ravi and Geeta both performed the task and Geeta won it for taking less time relatively.

The last one which took place at night has been performed by Lopa and Shiny. The task is to go into a house of maze and collect all the 5 flags, placed in different rooms and come out. Shiny outperformed Lopamudra on this one and won the round which brought the first episode to an end.
