Zee TV serial that is going on air from 25th of July 2018, Yeh Teri Galliyan brings forth a fantastic love story to the stage. Starring Manish Goplani and Vrushika Mehta the serial is the story of two estranged friends who are forcefully separated in their childhood and meet with countless hurdles in the process of their reconciliation too.

The story as revealed by the Zee team on various occasions is that two friends from being raised in Kolkata’s red-light district are separated in their childhood. The boy is raised away from there and studies abroad and the girl is brought up in the same area who becomes a dance teacher at an NGO. Will they ever be able to meet in their adulthood? If so, what will be the societal pressures that arise due to their background?

The serial though runs around the dramatic incidents with commercial elements in it, hopes to deliver a strong social message about sex workers. Yeh Teri Galliyan is packed with diverse elements like Childhood Friendships, love, separation, self-respect, betrayals, social stigmas and much more. Predicted to offer entertainment along with a strong social message the serial is on the wish list of many audiences who are following Zee TV.

The producer of the show speaking about Yeh Teri Galliyan says that the point the show wishes to make is that it doesn’t matter where you’re from what counts is where you’re headed. He also said that the world the serial is set in hasn’t been attempted on television so far and expressed his faith in the show that it will strike a chord with the audience.

The show is commencing from July 25th, 2018 @ 7 PM IST replacing the show Woh Apna Sa. It is supposed to run from Monday to Friday every week. Yeh Teri Galliyan is available to watch on YuppTV from all over the world on all the internet enabled devices.

After the selection, the contestants perform the best Bollywood songs and with the decision of judges and the grand jury, one contestant will be eliminated every week. The audience vote will affect the victory of the contestant in the competition only after these judgements. This is one of the reasons for the high ratings of the show.

The show has added 5 new contestants through wild card entry to the top 5 contestants and the new contestants will compete with the top 5 contestants now. The show now has 10 contestants of whom Shanmukhapriya, Yumna, Adnan Hussain, Sonakshi Kar, and Shreyan Bhattacharya are among the top 5 contestants.  The contestants who entered the show through wild card entry are Nandini Angad Gaikwad, Aftab Singh, Bidipta Chakraborty, Vaishnav Girish, and Anjali Gaikwad.

Zee Rishtey Awards to Celebrate 25 Years of Zee TV Live

In 2009, Zee TV presented an annual award show known as Zee Rishtey Awards which was a year later rated as one of the most popular and most rated award events on the Television. The award nominations are decided by the channel every year and the winners are selected through public voting.

The most awaited Zee TV awards were live this year on 5th February in Mumbai and were hosted by the real life couple Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi. Although the two did not host the show together as Rithvik was accompanied by ace-comedian actor Bharti Singh and Dance India Dance star Kunwar Amar joined Asha Negi on the stage for entertaining the audience. All the stunning famous TV actors like Smriti Jha, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Ravi Dubey, Kishwer Merchant, Suyyash Rai, Krystle D'Souza, Anita Hassanandani, and others attended the event along with some film industry personalities like Sonali Bendre and Aruna Irani.

Some of the famous on-screen couples like Siri - Shabbir (Kumkum Bhagya), Krystal D'souza - Aham Sharma (Brahmarakshas) brought the romance on stage. The newly wed Divyanka Tripathi was spotted in a red silk embroidery saree with her husband Vivek Dahiya and was awarded in the ceremony. Sriti Jha, who is playing a leading role on Zee TV's most popular show Kumkum Bhagya, looked gorgeous in pink and bagged the event with Best Jodi, Favorite Bahu and Favorite Kirdar awards.

 

Krystal D'souza, who is famous for making every outfit of her own, looked outstanding in a purple gown and was awarded as the Social Swagger off the year. Zee TV's new show Woh Apna Saa actors Disha Parmar, Sudeep Sahir and Ridhi Dogra were also recognized with awards on the stage. Star Plus leading show Yeh hai Mohabbatein was awarded the "Rishton Ki Parakh" Award and Kamya Punjabi won for her negative role in the colors show Shakti - Astitva Ka Ehsaas Ki. Dance performances given by the actors like Ravi Dubey and Karan Vohra added stars to this grand event.

Zee TV Brings New Spices to Add to the Taste of Viewers

Zee TV launched some new TV shows which have changed the persona of the regular serials on saas-bahu sagas. There are 4 such shows Zindagi ki Mehak, Who Apna Sa, Bin Kuch Kahe & Piya Albela.

Zindagi Ki Mehak is a TV serial currently running successfully on Zee TV. As the title says the story runs through the life of Mahek Sharma and Shaurya Khanna. Shaurya is restaurant owner who judges a cooking reality program in which Mehak is a contestant. Shaurya hates Mahek at the first impression itself and plays tactics to through her out of the show. The usual melodramatic situations which are a typical ingredient for its audience is also there in this story where Mahek is arranged to marry Ajay for which Shaurya gets irritated. The drama continues as Mahek’s cousin Neha is having an affair with Ajay but Ajay greedy of Mahek’s prize money rejects Neha. The brilliant chemistry between Shaurya, Mehak has resulted in the TRP ratings. The track were Mehak and Shaurya decides to marry, the marriage celebrations and how Shaurya left Mehak on the wedding day got immense popular. The current track is also gaining accolodes as they show Mehak is not scared of Shaurya behaviour, instead she fights to win her love back.

Woh Apna Sa is just launched some weeks back. Based on the well-known Hollywood movie Stepmom, the promos did the work.They created high curiousity among the viewers thus getting quite a well reception. The story casts Disha Parmar and Ridhi Dogra, both are coming back after a sabaticial. It also has Sudeep Sahir the handsome and popular actor in the lead. The story starts with a family were the daughter in law Nisha is demanding and dominating in charater.She doesn't care about the people around her infact she wants to hurt them if it will benefit her.Much to her happiness Aditya her husband is helpless, doesn't stop her on many things. But slowly he bagan to see her true face, where she is trying to harm his family members for power.He decides to break the relationship as there is no love and everything is making him suffocated. Apart from the family there is Jhanvi who is the sole earner of her little home, runs the house and simply smilingly solve everyone's problems. Aditya is Jhanvi 's boss but they two have different opinions on many things. How the two will get together, we have to watch the show to know that.

Bin Kuch Kahe tv show launched just 10 days before. The story revolves around 3 sisters living in a small town, their struggles, issues and dreams which will make you feel related to the concept. The story mostly focuses on their relationship with their mother. The leads are Shamata aanchan of Everest fame, and handsome newbie Sameer Arora. They both are two different personalities, eventually will fall in love with each other. The show has just started, so we have to wait for some time to see if the show will be liked by viewers or not.

Piya Albela is an upcoming serial in Zee TV produced by Film Maker Suraj Barjatiya under the banner of Rajshri Productions. It is based on the Hindu mythological story of sage Vishvamitra and apasara Menaka. The story runs through Naren who is a nature lover and wants to help others. His family, traditionally a business family, wants him to take the family run business to new heights. The entry of a simple girl to Naren’s life changes things quite in a big way. The beauty of ancient story narrated in relevance to the modern world is the specialty of the whole serial.

Though the concepts may sound similar but they are every bit different from other channels shows. Zee TV live maintains a distinctive way to entertain it's ardent viewers.
